I am thinking of several posts about Khaldei. Found this.

Photographers Evgeniy Khaldei and Samariy Gurariy. Cannes, France. 1946. I think Khaldei gave someone his famous Leica camera to take the memorable shot.

The man on the right of Khaldei is identified as во­ен­ный кор­ре­спон­дент га­зе­ты "Из­ве­стия" Гу­ра­рий Са­ма­рий Ми­хай­ло­вич, war correspondent of the Izvestia newspaper Gurary Samariy Mikhailovich (1916-1998). This must be Rashag’s cousin.
