This substack post deserves a hundred links. Read it slow, it’s all there: Unfolding the World — A Simple Moment of Weakness. The power mandarins want you distracted by the NFL, gambling, passionate partisan politics, race, sex, Marxism, woke religion, BLM riots, even Covid, they created themselves.
“The President’s job—and if someone sufficiently vain and stupid enough is picked he won’t realize this—is not to wield power, but to draw attention away from it.”—Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Fit the Ninth
What is J. Daniel Sawyer missing? I am not smart and educated enough, to see any holes in the argument. Expect that he doesn’t give a proper credit to the Trump revolution as the well-intentioned last gasp of the dying civilization. The people who nominally on the left are treasonous, uninformed, and cruel. They cling obediently to power behind the camouflage of neo Marxist slogans. These people are guilty of murder, literary. Alternatively, they are stupid and reckless.
Sawyer makes a reference to the Bronze Age collapse. There were many in history, but analogy with today is just a flourish. Nobody knows why there was a Bronze Age collapse. They best guess is drought, but no one knows for sure.
