On the subject of Letter of Chana Gourary to Nacha Rivkin.
The source of these letters is Kastenbaum auction that has six letters, four from Musia, one from Chana and one from Sheina/Sonia. All letters addressed to Nacha Rivkin. So, the seller must be Rivkin family.
The most fascinating letter the auction didn’t publish and they didn’t even understand what is written there. But there are two quotes that are simply astonishing. When I was told about this letter by someone who has seen it, I would not believe this, but there it is! See Full Text of Musia's letter to Natasha Rivkin.
Musia to Nacha, Warsaw 1928 before the wedding.
She calls her wedding “венчание”!
Musia to Nacha, Riga 1929
Sonia to Nacha Rivkin, Lodz, 1928
These, and others, were printed in Kfar Chabad. There they included photos of all the letters, including the one Kestenbaum did not. They were censored from Early Years by Elkanah Shmotkin, published by JEM.
