Jews volunteer to be Jews. You can be incompetent, stupid or outright destructive. No problem, we still take you. From small shules to federations, and even entire Israel, dysfunction is the absolute rule.
Most Rebbes betrayed Jews in the Shoa and Gulag or did not see it coming out of sheer fat stupidity. Not only is there no accountability, but the same Rebbes who “abandoned soldiers on the field”, Satmar, Belz, Ger, Chabad (add Brisker to the pile) have been rewarded with the biggest post-war movements. Rebbes who showed heroism, perished with their movements. What other job a Rebbe has but to protect his tribe? What are the consequences of the failure? Nothing. Rebbe is a great career, all the rewards of the queen bee, even a ticket out of the Ghetto and no accountability.
The current exchange of hostages is an emotional blackmail. I had enough watching it for two days.
1,200 have been slaughtered, many more raped or maimed. 400 soldiers have died. Their death will not look on TV or on X as good as freed baby hostages.

And by the way, one of the surprises has been how they came up with the identity of all the people who removed the posters of the hostages. All the canceling. What about all Hasidim who demonstrate with the islamofascists and burn the Israeli flags? I know can’t cancel them, they have no jobs. No matter how many times Satmar disavows those morons, the ugly result of the sick ideology is for all to see.
Studing WWII - I could not understand the kapos. Yes many did that just to try to get better food, or thinking it woulfd save their close ones and family. What I couldn not understand - is how they willfully participated in attorities or worse did their own kind of inflction of pain on their very own people. Ex: towards the enf of the war, in the concentration camps many rapes on Jewish girls wer done by kapos. Things we don't talk about.
Watching these people I now can understand them. Even amoung us Jews some are so rotton, as to step on their own brothers.
