If the Cathedral spends a decade raping the banks and productive billion dollar companies, forcing Musk to jump through endless hoops on pain of being shut down, debanking people with a phone call, well, Marxian analysis says nothing. If investors get tired of this and support Trump, Marxian analysis is triumphant-it's the shadow capital, after all! Cet animal est très méchant: Quand on l'attaque, il se défend.

Please explain, I do not understand.

"It is tempting to see the election as confirming the Marxian truism that politics is a shadow play in which victory goes to the dominant economic class."

This "dominant economic class" has spent the better part of a decade, Trump's term excluded, getting kicked in the face for no reason whatsoever. Having gotten tired of being kicked in the face, some part of it (a minority, but a dynamic and prominent one) publicly supported Trump. Marxist idiot: "this shows the dominance of capital!"

The Trump revolution put forth the reality that the working class switched parties. It is this realignment that was in the works for 30 years is the story of the election.

Israel is at War with Arabs.Hundreds of Arabs killed and homeless.

In this situation Chabad sends shluchim to Arab country!

You are forbidden to put yourself or another New in a dangerous situation by Torah law.

Hence the heads of MALACH share responsibility for his death. In no way do zi absolve the thugs who killed him.

Finally there are no resident Jews in UAE one,the Jews there are Israeli wheeler dealers, spies and similar fellows from the West.Yet they need a chief rabbi, other shluchim etc for whom?

Most American Jews who are not in business would be scared to go there.

When will Jewish world call Chabad out? Would Chabad send a shliach to Poland in 1943,,of course not a s Rabbi Schneerson Jr was running from France as fast as he could.

I think generally the UAE is pretty safe and punishing to criminals, overall certainly safer than NYC or any western capital.

As for the makolet-there are Jews in Dubai. They need kosher food, a mikveh, Jewish education for their children. These things don't happen by themselves-Chabad made them happen. What's your issue?

Mr Baruch,

Please tell Reb Kogan that the UAE IS SAFE! I thought you need an engineer and a crew to build a mikveh You guys educate your kids via home schooling on your glatt kosher computers Yes they do happen without a chief rabbi and svhluchim Kosher food needs a grocer not a shliach but what Chabad makes happen is PR andmuch needed funds to fly around and make appeals on Colivre for poor shluchim .

I need an answer would Rayaatz send a shliach to Leningrad in 1937,but it's all about PR.As my father said about Chabad lrmaan yagdil rs hatrashk !!

Chabad is no longer a chadidus it's a very successful business, but like many such operations, they over expand and go bust...

What you need for every project is someone willing to be responsible for it. Yes, even a mikve.

Chabad kids have no issues finding schooling. Normal Jewish kids, however, are a different story. I know many people whose only contact with Judaism as kids was through Chabad initiatives, and who returned to Judaism as adults thanks to this.

I do not know if the previous Rebbe would send a shaliach to Leningrad in 1937. I do know that practically all the people keeping the basic needs of Judaism going in the USSR from the 1930s to the 1980s, including mikvaot, kosher shechita and Jewish education, all underground, were Chabadniks. For instance:

He is also a little eccentric. But it is from the good source of lifelong disappointment with Chabad which frankly I share.

Baruch, you really shouldn't lecture Zalman with silly links to chabad site. Zalman is the preeminent historian of Chabad in the world. He is a retired librarian of YU. His uncle was a famous Rosh Chabad Yeshiva in Russia and perished. Child of survivors, he attended Chabad schools in USA. Don't embarrass yourself with links to Mendel F.

Mazal tov, so what do you want from me? To demonstrate that shlichut to the UAE is unnecessary and Rav Zvi Kogan should have...what? Opened a pizzeria in Petah Tikva instead?

As far as I understand, aside from a Jewish religious educational and support network, Chabad is also an influence network, an intelligence network and a business network, and always was. Aside from everything else,as far as I can tell, from the beginning every Hasidut had or has a mafia aspect about it, which is a good thing in my opinion. In any case, the Jewish spies and businessmen of Dubai also need kosher food, kosher education for their kids and a mikvah for their wives.

How many Breslev hasidim were there in the USSR after the 1950s? How many Soviet Jews made teshuva through them? I personally know one. Not comparable, it wasn't their mission.

Of course the previous generations were of a different caliber, because their challenges were different. Those who rose to the occasion were impressive. But I am also impressed with many of the guys today and think that they will meet the challenges coming our way in the future honorably.
