As soon as a MAGA guy says "let Putin conquer Ukraine!" we know that (1) he accepts the premise of an international commercial empire in which the USA places the leading role, because he's only quibbling over the details of imperial policy, and (2) he proposes the abandonment of client-states to barbarian invaders, a proposal that any of the Roman Imperial chroniclers would have seen as despicable.

Anyone who associates himself with the "America First!" slogan should advocate withdrawal from NATO, not abandonment of a particular NATO client.

The online Right likes Putin because he likes Christian rituals and doesn't allow state marriage-clerks to marry men to men. They see him as a Manly Traditionalist.
