• Iraq’s Invasion of Kuwait (1990)

• Gulf War (1991)

• Iraq’s rockets attacks on Israel During the Gulf War.

• The forces nurtured by the USA in Afghanistan turned rogue. U.S.-backed mujahideen in Afghanistan, including groups like al-Qaeda, later turned against Western interests. The power vacuum after the Soviet withdrawal led to civil war, the Taliban’s rise, and al-Qaeda’s growth, culminating in the attacks on 9/11. (2001)

• U.S. Invasion of Iraq (2003)

• Rise of ISIS (2013–2014): The chaos in post-invasion Iraq, combined with the Syrian Civil War (2011–present), enabled the rise of the Islamic State (ISIS)

• Wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria trigger immigration to the west, irreparably remaking the western culture.
