There is little practical meaning in today's chasidic community It offers a leader who allegedly cares about his followers and a sense of community personified by the Rebbe.

Chabad has no Rebbe,no community as people of various background are thrown together.

They share little cultural,or otherwise commonality.

This Chabad today is a theological cholent,and a cultural cholent ,with little commonality save worship of their last leade

Anyone here not guilty of the narrow vision? Especially, we are witnessing a spurned lover… Show some respect to the last true chosid in the world!

I wish Zalman can write poetry, and sing a song of a lifelong tragic love.

It would start as a boy in New England, collecting Rebbe's pictures. And then, later in life, discovering that a Rebbe is not what he imagined as a 10-year-old in New Haven. A very romantic and real story. Who can live up to a dream of the 10-year-old?
