This is Boris Kushner, he wrote an article in Russian about his family. He also published the picture Devora Leah Schneerson Ginsburg from his archive.

Boris Meerovich, the husband of Sofya Moiseevna and Boris Kushner’s grandfather:

Mom and Grandma said I looked a lot like him. And that was the secret object of my pride. And they called me Boris in memory of my grandfather.”

This is the arrest photo of Меерович Борис Яковлевич Meerovich Boris Yakovlevich. I am not sure Boris Kushner knows about this photo. This photo reminds us of the photo of a different Boris who met the same fate: Post No. 3 - The Startups of Boris Markovich Schneerson.

A new photo. On the left, Meerovich Boris Yakovlevich with his wife Sheina Ginsburg and her bother, Aron the revolutionary. We wrote about this man Ginzburg Aron Movshevich (Moiseevich). Aron is wearing Kosovorotka, to show that he is part of the Russian folk. Leo Tolstoy used to wear this shirt, for the same reason Aron is wearing it, to show that he is part of the people, not a rich aristocrat. Still, Aron’s nickname in prison was “Baron”.

Devora Leah Schneerson Ginsburg the daughter of the Maharash with her family. Perhaps Sheina is the girl on the left of her mother. We tried to speculate which one is Aron. Not clear. Maybe the boy on the very right of the photo. He has a distinct no bridge nose. The father, Moshe Ginsburg, is not in this picture.
