To continue the theme of the eclipse of the Schneerson family. I rush these posts out because I yearn for the day when I am done talking about this family. I am sure the ten readers I have are creme de la creme and they can figure it out.
Schnnerson Lev Michailovich - Шнеерсон, Лев Михайлович
This man was born in 1910 in Chelyabinsk, which is very unusual. So, I thought initially perhaps he had any connection to Boris Schneerson. But then he left Chelyabinsk for school in Leningrad, long before Boris arrived to Chelyabinsk. He was a professor, linguist, author, and historian. He authored many books, and he taught in Minsk Belarus University. Lev Michailovich eventually immigrated to the USA. He died in 1999 in Milwaukee. Russian Wiki.
Schneerson Grigory Michailovich - Шнеерсон, Григорий Михайлович
This man was born in Siberia in 1901 in Eniseysk, where his father was in exile for being a revolutionary. All these “Michailovich” Schneersons, one has to assume a son of a Mendel. This man died in 1982 in Moscow but all his career was in Leningrad. He was a researcher of the work of Soviet and foreign composers of the XX century. Schneerson Evgenia Vadimirovna – Шнеерсон, Евгения Владимировна
Evgenia (Genya) Vladimirovna (Vulfovna) (Born, January 5/18, 1909, Warsaw). She was a pianist, musicologist, concert figure, a teacher.
She was born in the family of a doctor, Wolf Schneerson. Until 1914 she lived in Warsaw, then in Polotsk (now Belarus), where her mother Dora Alexandrovna (nee Aronson) worked as a music and singing teacher.
There is a write-up about her in Saint Petersburg conservatory site. Like Grigory above, she was a part of Shostakovitch musical circle in Leningrad. I believe her career was destroyed in Stalin’s times.

The Graves
These are scattered all over.
There is one thing you should know about Russian graves. There are multiple people from multiple generations on the same small lot. How do they pack them there, given a similar situation, I try not to think about it. Some of those sideways stones are often memorial for people whose burial is unknown. People improvised to stay together forever.

Poscriptum
There are no shortages of Shneersons or Schneersons on LinkedIn, many of them “Russian” or “really Russian”. That’s where you would expect to find them, they are the “professionals” or is it “young professionals”? Because as we know, there are no “old professionals” or even “middle-aged professionals” in existence. There is even a young pisher there a VP of Black Rock. But we knew that the farkakter “globalism” runs in their “putrid genes” as another family man, Tony Soprano, used to say.
